Brazil’s space research center has reported that wildfires in the Pantanal wetlands of Brazil have increased tenfold this year alone.
According to a report released by the Brazilian Space Research Center, wildfires in the southern Amazon rainforest in the Pantanal region have increased tenfold this year and the number of fires in the Pantanal has increased by 980 percent from June last year to June 5 of this year.
