Balakrishna: Film star Nandamuri Balakrishna has achieved a hat-trick by winning the Hindupur constituency in Andhra Pradesh for the third time.
Balakrishna, his father and Telugu Desam Party founder N.T. Rama Rao has followed his legacy and maintained this success. He has cemented his family’s political influence by winning all three elections from 2014 to 2024 in the Hindupur constituency.
NT Rama Rao represented the Hindupur constituency since 1985 and since then the constituency has been a stronghold of the Telugu Desam Party.
