Hero Company has released the Combat Edition of the Zoom scooter that they are selling. The Zoom scooter is sold in three variants namely LX, VX and ZX. Based on the top-end ZX model, Hero has released a new Zoom Combat Edition model.
Zoom Combat Edition: What Changes
The Zoom Combat Edition scooter has been launched with a unique paint scheme. The biggest change is the paint scheme. Apart from this cosmetic change, there are no differences between the Combat Edition model and the top-end ZX variant.
The Zoom Combat Edition has a matte shade gray color. There are also yellow and black accents here and there. Hero has chosen this matte shade gray as the color of a fighter jet and named it Combat Edition accordingly.
Zoom Combat Edition: Engine, Features and Price
As mentioned above, apart from the new color, nothing new is offered in the Combat Edition. The Hero Zoom scooter is powered by a 110.9 cc, air-cooled engine that churns out 8.2hp of power and 8.7Nm of torque.
As this combat model is based on the top-end ZX of the Zoom scooter, all the premium features provided in it are also provided in this combat edition model.
Bluetooth connectivity, a digital display with call and SMS alerts are also offered in this Combat Edition. The Combat Edition is the most expensive Zoom scooter priced at Rs.80,967.
The base variant of the Zoom model, the LX, is priced at Rs 71,484, while the top-end ZX is priced at Rs 79,967. The Zoom Combat Edition has been released at a price of Rs.1000 more than the top end. This sporty scooter is being sold as a competitor to the Honda Duo in India.
