Housing finance stocks rise;  Sensex down 62 points-oneindia news

Share Market News Today | Sensex | Nifty | Share Prices | Indian stock market benchmark equity indices ended the trading session on June 11 on a negative note.
The Mumbai Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex ended the day trading at 76,427.69, down 62 points or 0.08%. Meanwhile, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty 50 was seen up 4.95 points or 0.02% at 2,15,264.
The Nifty Midcap-100 closed up 440 points or 0.83% at 53,675.60. Bank Nifty ended 111 points or 0.02% lower at 49,670.

Stock status

ONGC, Tata Motors, L&T, Adani Ports and SEZ and Hero MotoCorp were the top gainers in the Nifty 50.
Among the Nifty-50, Kotak Bank, Divis Lab, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Reliance Industries and ITC were major losers.
Meanwhile, shares of Homes First Finance rose 11.4% to Rs 963. Shares of Awas Financiers rose 9.2% to touch a fresh 52-week high of Rs 1,894.

Subsequently, other housing funds such as BNP Housing, NBCC, GIC Housing Finance and Hatco gained between 7.1% and 8.5%. In comparison, the benchmark index Nifty 50 returned 6% in the last five days.
