Miller’s half-century… The Netherlands lost the match in hand..!

T20I : In today’s 16th match of the T20 World Cup, South Africa beat Netherlands and registered their 2nd win.

The T20 match between South Africa and Netherlands was played at the Nassau County International Cricket Ground in New York. South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Accordingly, the Netherlands team started batting. The South African bowlers could not cope with the delivery and lost wickets in succession and added runs at the plate. With this, they lost 6 wickets for 48 runs and stumbled.

After that only Cybrand Engelbrecht of the Netherlands team added runs with responsibility. He stayed calm and scored 40 off 45 balls. Otneil Bartman took the maximum 4 wickets for South Africa. With this, they lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and scored only 103 runs.

After this, the South African team came out to bat to score a simple target of 104 runs. But, like the team batting second on this ground as usual, the South African team also lost successive wickets.

Due to this, at one point the South African team lost 4 wickets for 12 runs and stumbled. After that, Tristan Stubbs and David Miller kept the game under control by knocking and adding runs and hitting boundaries at the right times.

Stubbs was then dismissed for 33 runs. After that, Miller settled down and finished the match unbeaten with a successful half-century (59* off 51 balls). With this, South Africa scored 106 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 18.5 overs and won the match by 4 wickets and got the 2nd victory of this series.
