100A 2-month-old baby has died after the wall of the house collapsed in New Velar Chinnakulam, Vavuniya, Omanthai.
Sindhujan, a resident of Mullaitivi, along with his wife and two-month-old child, came to his sister’s house in Vavunia on the 7th.
Yesterday (09) around 5.00 pm while staying at her younger sister’s temporary house while visiting for an event, the stone wall inside the house fell on the child.
The family immediately took the child to Vavunia General Hospital, but the child died.
The dead body has been kept at Vavuniya Hospital and the Omanthai police have conducted investigations.
