Rajinikanth Wishes PM Modi And Says Opposition Parties Are Strong

The Lok Sabha elections were held across the country in seven phases and concluded on June 1. When the election results were announced, the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won 293 seats. The India Alliance, which includes the Congress, is set to become the strongest opposition party by winning 232 seats.

As BJP got only 240 seats, this time unlike last time, Telugu Desam and United Janata Dal parties are forming a coalition government. In this situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be sworn in for the 3rd time this evening. Foreign leaders and important celebrities of India have been invited to attend.

In that way the call went to actor Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth left Chennai this morning by plane to attend the Prime Minister’s swearing-in ceremony.

Speaking to reporters at the Chennai airport, Rajinikanth said, “Narendra Modi will be sworn in as Prime Minister for the 3rd time in a row. This is a great achievement. My best wishes to him. People have also elected a strong opposition party in this parliamentary election. This will lead to a healthy democracy,” he said.

He said that he has received an invitation for the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and will inform about going there. He also conveyed my congratulations to Seeman as Nam Tamil Party has been recognized as a state party.

Thanking Seeman for this, he has posted on his social media page, “I am deeply grateful to Rajinikanth for congratulating us on getting 8.2 percent of the votes in the parliamentary elections and the recognition of our Tamil party as a state party.”

Actor Rajinikanth announced at the end of 2017 that he would start a political party. The work for that was also going on. However, Tamil Nadu political parties criticized Rajini’s speech and activities as right-wing. Rajinikanth has also been giving comments in favor of the BJP.

Rajinikanth has announced that he will not start the party during the 2021 elections considering his health. After that he avoids the questions related to politics. It is at this stage that the Prime Minister is going to attend Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.
